While most forms of sculpture are ad- ditive or reductive, I enjoy the unique challenge of manipulating a form out of a single at sheet, where no material can be added or removed, and no crease erased. Drawing from a sketch, photo or memory, I form the gure free- hand. There are no molds or casts in the creation process, so each piece
is a one-of-a-kind. Each nished piece assumes
the form of a relief and is approximaltey ve to six inches deep.”
