With a degree in architecture, Gzyl worked at a commercial real estate company in Poland for 17 years, design- ing interiors and facades for shopping centers and shop windows. She learned to work with an assortment of materials, one of which was construction silicone. Silicone as a medium lends her paint- ings a three-dimensional effect, one that encourages the tactile: “My artwork has a variety textures and can also be felt by individuals who are visually challenged.
I am striving to communicate my emo- tions which were present during the creating of my artwork to people with physical capabilities.”
