Whadcock earned his BA Hons degree in Fine Art at Bristol Polytechnic and MA Printmaking at the Royal College of Art. In 1996 he was awarded a residency
at Lowick House in Cumbria. This resulted in representation by the Northcote Gal- lery in London who, through a series of one-person shows and art fairs both national and international, began to build up a body of collectors for his work. In 2014 he was awarded a two-week residency at Cill Riallaig artist retreat in Kerry, Ireland. He is also represented by the Cadogan Contemporary Gallery in London and is working toward a new body of work for them over the coming twelve months.
