Wow.
Her final gift to me. Whoosh.
She wants to see you dance again, my brother, who was beside me, said.
But, I said.
That’s what she wants, Beth. Look.
My brother returned the video to the track fea-
turing the two minutes of me. To that opening
lift, that outside spin, that rise and fall, that
whisk, that glamorous red. To the beginning
dancer whose shoulders were high and whose
open turn faltered and whose lift might have
