“My photos grow from an elaborate process, which involves a whole installation. In my own
studio I first paint the walls, then I create one or two sculp- tures that represent a dilemma, an antagonism. A story de- velops in which I dance or move around and with the help of a tripod, take photos of the dancing or movement. At different stages, I take photos of other ‘characters’/models. As the process unfolds, I write poems based on the expe- rience. The whole process involves: painting, sculpturing, dancing, acting, photographing and writing poems. The aim is to create a closed universe that can breathe on its own, that has a life of its own.”
