“My paintings are stories.
The images represent conversations and dreams and obscure memories all tacked down on paper. I make liberal use of met- aphor and symbolism. I’m schooled in psychology and work in the medical information eld. I have a quirky imagination that insists on being acknowledged and so I create stuff; paintings, over-the-top birthday cakes, odd gardens with giant pump- kins, assemblages, poetry and stories, some of which I share with you here. I have mainly shown my work locally, but this is the year when I let it out in the world!”
