Riesing earned her BA in Fine Art and Anthropology from Smith College, Northampton, MA; and her MA and MFA from University of Wiscon- sin, Madison. Recent solo exhibitions include She Shed at Asya Geisberg Gallery, New York, NY; and Well Worn, at Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY. Her work has also appeared in numerous group exhibitions both in the US
and abroad. She’s the recipient of several awards, grants and fellowships, including Haystack Open Studio Residency, Haystack Mountain School of Craft, Maine; and Cite International des Arts Residency, Paris.
