“My work explores a range of photographic processes and techniques,
as well as themes such as glitches, escapism, voids, the sur- real, and the liminal. I explore, question, and play with how different processes influence the image, including the role of digital on photographs and the images, and how the im- ages are experienced by the viewer.
“In creating these images, I experimented with my mobile phone’s camera, my instax mini camera, and with darkroom processes such as photograms. I developed and manipu- lated these photographic images through different editing and printing processes, in particular silkscreen—aiming to strike a balance between the original aesthetic and chemical nature of the photogram or Polaroid, with a new aesthetic embedded in the surface of the exhibited artwork.”
