Wood lives and has a studio in the Catskill Mountain Region of New York’s Hudson Valley. She has participated in many group and invitational shows and has had several solo exhibitions in the United States and abroad. Since 1970, the materials for her sculptures have been found objects combined often with hand-carving. In 2004, she was awarded the Proskauer Prize at the National Sculpture Society’s Annual Awards Exhibition in New York City, NY. Many of her works are in private collections both in the United States and Germany.
