“Ipaint journeys through imagined spaces and misremembered places.
I work on multiple paintings of imagined landscapes in multiple series at the same time so that in my studio, I am surrounded by everyday strangeness. I anthropomor- phize these human-less landscapes with their clouds and sky and lands and rocks. Parts of the landscapes break away (or come togeth- er) becoming their own active subject, play- ing, moving and breaking away.”
