working with fused glass, it gave me
enormous freedom, and this clearly enhanced my creative process. It made it

much more enjoyable. Fused glass is an excellent medium
to work with because, when
the cut glass pieces are placed together within a hot kiln, they melt into each other. This allows me. as a glass artist, to have ac- cess to a broad range of tech- nical possibilities and creative visual possibilities. The colors can blend together or transform in the way that paint does, or they can simply stand on their own, depending upon what the artist wants to do with them. For me, it is a whole new way of looking at things.”
