“My work has always involved the photo- graphic moment — that moment when
an image is irrevocably removed from its original time and space — and how that affects
our perception of that moment. Recently I have been looking at how photography changes objects, and how the re-contextualizing intrinsic to the photo- graphic process along with methods of presentation in uence the meaning of the object. My current work expands the de nition of what it means to collect, explores the role of photography in memorializing artifacts, and blurs the line between popular forms of collecting and institutional archives.”
