“My work explores
and embodies self-de ning stories. The intricacy of weaving these indi-
vidual stories informs my work. Women bear histories they cannot
control, but dissolving, erasing, painting over, tearing apart and stitch- ing together personal histories provide the opportunity for new narratives. This process yields traces of a life lived and becomes im- printed on bodies, both real and imagined.
