Kwun is a Korean American painter who mainly focuses on the correlation between shapes and patterns.
He is also interested in exploring the boundary between continuation and discontinuation. The subtle touch of small brush strokes filling up the vast space and the bold color-matching are the tools to weave different forms together. He re- ceived a BFA degree from the School of Visual Arts and is currently studying for an MFA degree at New York University.
