Born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, Bergamini holds a graduate degree in journalism, and has been pursuing photography since he was twenty-one. As a photogra- pher, he explores not only various contemporary techniques, but how photography can serve as a mode of expression for both political and social critique. Awarded in national competitions and festivals, he has participated in group and solo exhibitions in Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Venezuela, Chile, Ecuador, Slovenia, and Lithuania.
