“[This series] is where personal memories and dreams are wrapped mythology of the Roman/Greek deity. First, in a three part series, the consort and children of Saturn and the abuses sustained at the h abusive patriarch. Images of offspring Hestia, the eldest daughter-ch goddess of the hearth, through Jupiter—the avenger, as well as Rh are imagined rst hand as they face the wrath of Saturn.
This project looks at the state of affairs of domestic violence, never topic to discuss, with survivors or the general population. Yet it is thr this artwork that I would like to open a dialogue by interpreting the through mythology—and hopefully help others come to terms with t ence and break the cycle of violence.”
