“Ilove going back and forth between painting and
sculpture, choosing the medium most adept at furthering and giving form to an idea, using different artistic muscles with each new piece; hav- ing the ability to use all that is available from some of the oldest mediums like wood or bronze to the newest in the form of digital sculpting and 3D printing. I see my art as a response to personal and shared human experiences. Sometimes the original experience or story is recognizable in my work, sometimes not. I want each piece to take on a life of its own, like a guided daydream, the suggestion of a story left in the mind of the viewer to finish telling.”
