French has exhibited widely throughout the UK. Key exhibitions include the Mall Galleries in London with the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colour exhibitions (2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019). She was a finalist in Artist & Illustrator’s Artist of the Year compe- tition (2016), and in The Sunday Times Watercolour Competition (2014). Her work was selected for the Royal Watercolour Society’s Contemporary Watercolour competition at the Bankside Gallery, London (2018 and 2019), and is held in both national and interna- tional private collections. French grew up in Manchester close to the brooding Pennine hills. She studied art and design before mov- ing to the Isle of Skye in 1995, where she lived for 15 years work- ing as a graphic designer while also embarking on her career as a professional artist. She now lives and works in Norfolk.
