Schroeder has won numerous art awards and grants, including two Elizabeth Greenshields Grants, and a Rauschenberg Grant, and has been featured in various art publications. His art has been shown in over thirty exhibitions around the United States, Asia, and Europe. He was
an artist-in-residence at Shanghai University in China and twice in the Raketensation at the Insel Hombroich Foundation in Germany, and was selected as a Fulbright Scholar for painting in Düs- seldorf and Münster, Germany. Schroeder has previously worked for Jeff Koons, and at the Gug- genheim Museum, on retrospective exhibitions with artists such as Alex Katz. In 2022, he was the Featured Artist for the White House Fellows Annual Leadership Conference. Schroeder was the first in his family to receive a post-secondary degree, earning his BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art and MFA from the New York Art Academy. Most recently, Schroeder has exhibited in two solo shows in New York, including: Engaging Reality People and Spaces at Space 776, New York, NY; and Thin Air and Cinders at Amos Eno Gallery, Brooklyn, NY. Work from the exhibition at Space776 was featured in Metropolitan Magazine and 25A Gold Coast Luxury magazine.
