“My work is mainly about mark making,
universal patterns, and the idea of paring down to es- sentials. Patterns of thought, nature, symbolic form, and everyday life inform the work. The paintings are labor intensive and process driven by movement, repetition, and the layering of water-based materials, including watercolor and acrylic as well as graphite and cold wax. I am concerned for the state of the earth, the feminine wave, and expanding human consciousness.”
