 “Like an archeological dig, objects below the surface
ultimately reveal themselves— oftentimes crude and unfamiliar in appearance. Shapes emerge and perish almost simultaneously within their environment, and their admission does not come easy. What remains from this conflict are unsettled and irreducible forms that have fought for their existence. In an ongoing exploration for greater meaning and understanding, this tearing down of the figure, is when I begin to see truth.”
