“As a photographer, I go beyond the captured image to create elements of fantasy, surrealism, and drama. I experiment with
mirror images, overlays, and image combinations. I focus on design elements of composition, texture, and strong lighting. During the last couple of years, I have also explored working with a digital SLR camera converted to infrared. Using in- frared produces images that I feel—compared to black and white—have a built-in subtle glow and contrast.”
