Digital Art
Fundora has been working in digital since acquiring her first Mac 512K computer in 1985. She has participated in two exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Juan, Puerto Rico—the first in 1990, Art and Communication, ex- plored the application of modern technologies in contempo- rary art; the second, Toward a Digital Aesthetic: The Art of Yolanda Fundora, emphasized the unique characteristics that the digital can lend to the visual arts. Fundora’s work is includ- ed in many private and corporate collections, and as part of the Museum of Contemporary Art’s permanent collection.
