Myers is a writer, songwriter, story- teller, visual artist, and senior lecturer at Santa Clara University. He has placed 49 art pieces with various jour- nals and websites, including five with
the literary magazine at Johns Hopkins University. Myers has also published 23 books for both children and adults, and is a New York Times bestseller for chil- dren’s books. He was the recipient of the 2012 SCBWI Magazine Merit Award for Fiction, among other awards.
