Wong is a 4th generation Lingnan painter. (Lingnan originated in south- ern China in the late 19th century, known for the fusion of modern Chinese, Japanese, and Western painting approaches.) Wong started traditional Lingnan Painting les-
sons at the age of five. She received her BA (Honors) in Graphic Design from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. After graduating from Hong Kong Polytech- nic University Art and Design department, she earned her MFA and MA in Digital Pho- tography and Digital Arts from th Maryland Institute College of Art. Wong served as
an electronic media and cultural professor for over fifteen years. She is a recipient of the first place Design Philadelphia Award; “Excellent Scholars” from Maryland Institute College of Art; and “Teaching excellence honor” from the art Institute and Fellowship Award from Robert B. McMillen foundation.
