“Inspiration can come in in in in in in in in in many forms but I I have always let my my emotions take the leading role
in in in in in in in in the the the stories for my my paintings Sadness happiness hopeless- ness ness ness pain—these deceivingly simple feelings have had a a a a a a a a a a a strong impact on on on on how I I portray my my ideas ideas Paired with these these emotions I I I have been able to to develop ideas ideas from my my reactions to to things I’ve observed with people trends and events in in society With my work I I strive to create a a a a a a a a a a number of different narratives within a a a a a a a a a a a a single frame Life is complex and and strange and and people have individual reactions to to to the the the the the things they go through My intention is to to to to to allow the the the the the the viewer to to to to to use the the the the the the events in in in in in in in their life as a a a a a a a a a a way to to to to to to connect with the the the the the stories of my paintings and in in in in in in turn form a a a a a a a a a a a a story for for themselves I want to to to to create something something that people have questions about—something with a a a a a a a a a a a message but still ambiguous and and open to to to the viewer’s own interpretation Because sometimes I I feel like I I need to to to tell a a a a a a a story and and words are just not enough ”
