Progressive M&E Brotherhood President Baptist State Convention of Florida President Bro. Wayne Herring (stepping down)
We congratulate the men of the Progressive M&E Baptist State Convention of Florida Brotherhood in expressing their appreciation for the service rendered by Bro. Wayne Herring. Brother Herring receivedhisappointmenttotheNational Baptist Convention of America Int’l Inc., as National Brotherhood President. This office was previously held by Bro. Forestal Lawton, who recommend Bro. Herring as his successor. Bro. Lawton still serves as an inspiration for many brothers around the world as one who has left his footprint and influences in many lives. Bro. Lawton now serves as President-Emeritus.
Bro. Wayne Herring deemed it necessary for him tostepdownfromtheStateConventionof Florida Brotherhood as President in order to give space for another brother to lead. He has left a legacy to be follow and admired. Bro. Herring was also giving thetasktogiveleadershiptoRegionTwo during Bro. Lawton term as the National Brotherhood president. So, Bro. Herring has shown that he has the right stuff to lead.
Again we acknowledge, as well as, celebrate the future endeavors ahead of both the Brothers of Florida and the brothers of the National Baptist Covention ofAmerica Inc. Brotherhood.
