Once again, I greet you in the name of our risen savior Jesus the Christ. It is my prayer that you and your families are doing well. Thanks be to God for allowing us to see another calendar year in which we can continue to be about our father’s business. We broke camp in Louisville, Ky only to begin our journey to Memphis, TN for our Annual Mid-Winter Board Meeting in February. We thank all of you who were in attendance, we were given some very important information that will encourage us to continue to serve during this post covid season of service. The work has to go on.
We continue to strive for the betterment of this convention thanks to a coordinated effort with other Ministries,
we were able to donate $12,000 dollars to the Lamond-Owens HBCU in Memphis during our annual out-reach endeavor. Thanks to Dr. Forestal Lawton for giving leadership in this area.
The NBCA Annual Congress will convene June 26-30 in Louisville, Ky with St. Stephens Church as host. Reservations can be made at the Brown Hotel, 335 West Broadway, Louisville, Ky. Room rates $142.00 night, with the deadline to make reservations Friday, June 1, 2023, (888) 888-5252.
The NBCA Annual Session in September will convene September 11-14, 2023 in Dallas, TX, with the Antioch Fellowship MBC, 7550 S. Hampton Rd., Hotel accommodations information TBA
Allow me to say thank you for the prayers that were extended to me and Brother Lawton as we traveled to Ghana, West Africa in December, what an eye opening experience it was.
Let us continue to be in prayer one for the other, please give special attention in our prayers for Brother Jonny Foster as he continues battle health issues and to Brother James Threat during this his season of bereavement.
