P. 2
We can do more together than anyone of us can do alone.
We can do more through the unification of the churches empowered to engage in actualizing God’s kingdom on earth. In other words we make the Kingdom of God a reality through, Global Mission, Evangelism, Discipleship, Social Justice, and Development. The purpose of our Convention to bring the churches together to work toward a common goal. Jesus said in Acts 1:8, you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and Judea, (that’s District Association,) and in Samaria (that’s State Convention), 9 (then he said,) to the uttermost part of the earth (that’s World/Foreign Mission).
Denominational work is the collective efforts of the District Associations, State Convention, and
National Convention working together to help touch the lives of hurting people. We are committed to the development of the spirituality of the people within the convention and within the various churches. We serve a great purpose. The same thing you do at your church is what we do in the convention but we are doing it through a collective effort. We are bringing our nickels and dimes together - and by virtue of that we have many partnerships through our National Baptist Convention of America Int’l Inc. You have access to these benefits because of your church being a member of the New Era Progressive Missionary Baptist State Convention of Alabama Inc. which is affiliated with the National Baptist Convention of America Int’l Inc.
Benefits are listed on the nbcainc.com website such as; help after natural disaster by our home mission, educational scholarships, and our National Baptist Convention Headquarter which is on the campus of Simeon College in Louisville, Ky. Through the National Baptist partnership Pastors of member churches can provide and/or set aside pension for retirement. Foreign Mission includes hospitals, eye foundation and have build churches in Ghana and Panama, and Haiti, alone with building home for people in Haiti who are still recovering from the earthquakes. We are committed to supporting Children Villiage. The city of Louisville, Ky has offered to pay full tuition, if student agree to remain employed there in Louisville for four years after graduation. The list of opportunities goes on and on, but you can only utilize and take advantage of these partnership if your church belong to the New Era Progressive Missionary Baptist State Convention of Alabama Inc.
Listen, it is not good for your church to be alone. By combining our efforts, we can have a profound impact in the ministry of Christ.
