The Progressive Missionary and Education Baptist State Convention of Florida Inc.,
The Progressive Missionary and Education Baptist State Convention of
Florida Inc., will be convening their Annual Session March 22-25,2021. This meeting will be held via ZOOM and live streamed through Facebook. The Convention is under the leadership of Dr. Bartholomew Banks Sr., who serves as President.
President Wayne Herring of the Brotherhood Ministry will call to order the Brotherhood Session on Tuesday, March 23 at 1:30 PM.
The Brotherhood Ministry will also have sessions on Wednesday, 10:00 -11:30 AM and again 1:30 -3:00 PM. The Brotherhood Session will close out on Thursday at 10:00 AM at which time President Herring will give his Annual Address.
President Herring will also be presenting to Brother Basil Jeffers and Brother Curtis Perry the "Walter J. Randall Distinguished Service Award" during this session
The Progressive Missionary and Education Baptist State Convention of Florida
Inc., have an opportunity to partner with the State of Florida to provide vaccination to 500 people this Sunday February 8, 2021 at the St. John Progressive Missionary Baptist Church in Tampa. The State of Florida will provide all the medical resources and it would be our responsibility to provide administrative responsibilities including signing individuals up and placing them time slots for vaccination. As you’re aware our community has been disproportionately impacted by the coronavirus and additionally there is some hesitation on the part some of our people regarding the vaccination.
