Greetings in in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ All roads led to Louisville Kentucky for our 142nd Annual Session of the National Baptist Convention of America International Inc September 11-15 2022
What a a a a a glorious time that was enjoyed by all who were in attendance Allow me to to to use this manner to to to say thank-you to to to all of you who were in in attendance during the the Brotherhood Sessions all of the the program participants did a a a a a a a fantastic job in their presentations We were honored to to to be able to to to honor honor Dr Forestal Lawton on on on on Tuesday of the Convention with a a luncheon to let him know that we appreciated his his service and commitment to the Ministry during his his tenure as President
We also were able to bless three of our Brother’s with the the Cross Award an award given each year to a a a a a a a deserving Brother for his service to the Ministry and beyond We were not able to meet since 2019 during the the pandemic therefore we presented three awards this year to bring us current in in our awarding of such an honor this year the awards was presented to Brother’s Leroy Leroy Owens Albert L L L Black and Leroy Leroy Gant please join me in in saluting these Brothers for their service On behalf of Regena and myself we also say thank-you for the love and support that was extended to us during our Annual Session we are forever grateful for for your kindness Thanks to the the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Brotherhood Ministry Pastor Eric French Sr for graciously opening their doors to to us us that allowed us us to to have a a a a a a a fellowship breakfast on Thursday Morning of the Convention Please be be in prayer for Dr Lawton and myself as as we will be be traveling to Ghana West Africa in in December Let us not grow weary in in in well doing continue to to do do good unto all men especially to those of of the household of of faith President
