Welcome Reception
We open our meeting at the JW
Marriott Desert Ridge with a festive
evening under the desert sky.
Firepits glow, cocktails flow, and
members reconnect in a relaxed,
welcoming setting. The mood is
casual yet energized, sparking
conversations and renewing and
creating friendships that will
deepen through the week.
Thursday, February 26 –
President’s Celebration at the
Musical Instrument Museum
The celebration continues at
Scottsdale’s world-famous Musical
Instrument Museum, home to
one of the most unique collections
of instruments in the world.
Surrounded by artistry and sound,
we honor our President Marc
Harwell and leadership team. The
venue’s elegance and global spirit
create a perfect atmosphere of
culture, pride, and inspiration.
Friday, February 27 – FDCC
Sonoran Desert Saloon at the
JW Marriott Desert Ridge
On Friday night, enter a world
where the Old West comes alive.
At the FDCC Sonoran Desert
Saloon, guests are dropped into a
frontier town of outlaws, gamblers,
and showmen. Characters roam
the crowd, recreating the grit and
charm of a bygone desert saloon.
Specialty cocktails flow as piano
notes give way to raucous tunes,
and every corner holds a surprise—
whether a hand of cards, a roving
entertainer, or a chance encounter
straight out of the Wild West. This
isn’t just a party; it’s an immersive
escape into a desert saloon where
you write your own western story.
Saturday, February 28 –
Camaraderie and Competition
We close with laughter and play
on Saturday with a variety of fun
and competitive events, including
the Golf Tournament, Pickleball
Tournament, spirit tastings, and an
epic afternoon at the pool alongside
a DJ providing lively ambiance.
Join your friends for one last
evening dining around the resort
and cap off the night with us in the
President’s Suite to raise a toast to
the conclusion of an amazing week.
Each night delivers its own magic,
collectively defining our 90th year.
Programming: A Midweek Kickoff
with Substance and Style
In addition to the events and
entertainment, our program
promises in equal parts substance,
strategy, and spirited dialogue.
Beginning Wednesday evening with
a warm welcome and continuing
through Saturday’s deep dives
into ethics, policy, and cutting-
edge litigation trends, this year’s
Winter Meeting offers more than
just CLE credit—it’s an immersive
masterclass in how to remain
current and sharp when the legal
landscape won’t sit still.
The gathering begins Wednesday
at 5:00 p.m. with introductions of
new members—always a highlight
for the FDCC family—and an
opportunity to showcase the warm
