As diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts come under attack, the FDCC
is committed to recruiting and engaging diverse
FDCC Pillars
The Federation’s Commitment To DEI
members. As we serve all our members and their needs, we are committing more time and resources to recruit, nominate, welcome, and get involved with diverse in-house and outside counsel.
Our Diversity Committee will focus on:
• Increasing our diversity by identifying and nominating diverse in-house counsel and outside counsel;
• Developing our newer, diverse members into vibrant, enthusiastic FDCC leaders;
• Encouraging a diversity of members to write and speak at our events to prepare them to join FDCC leadership;
• Engaging our diverse members and welcoming them into our community;
• Talking and listening to our diverse members and responding to what they tell us;
• Working with our sister organizations to mutually enhance our diversity efforts;
• Creating a safe space where we can share diverse views and perspectives and engage in thoughtful and productive
•
dialogue through Diversity Breakfasts at our meetings and Diversity Webinars throughout the year; and
Working through social media to engage diverse members.
