FDCC FOUNDATION
ADVANCING OUR MISSION

The FDCC Foundation’s (“Foundation”) mission is, among others, to promote civil justice, improve the function of
Foundation to accomplish all aspects of its mission.
We thank those of you who included a tax deductible donation along with your dues payment
or may have sent in a separate donation as well. You may well be on your way toward becoming a Foundation Fellow or increasing your level of participation within the Foundation. The Foundation Fellow Program was established in 2003. Currently the levels are the:
• Foundation Fellow (FF)
• Sustaining Foundation Fellow (SFF)
• Endowing Foundation Fellow (EFF)
• Philanthropic Foundation Fellow (PFF) and the prestigious President’s Circle Fellow
Each contribution made to the Foundation, for any of its wonderful programs accumulates to allow members to progress through these levels of recognition.
In addition to the ease in which you can contribute to the Foundation with your dues payment
and through the website, the Foundation also receives bequests in wills, stocks and other legacy giving. As a part of its fundraising campaign this past year, working with Section Chairs, the Foundation presented members with a basket auction at the Annual Meeting at the Greenbrier. This was a first-time event that was a huge success. To all the members who contributed to a basket, thank you. To all the sections who developed and put together the baskets, thank you. And, to those members who bid
the civil justice system, and encourage and foster education. These goals are accomplished by sponsoring programs and projects that enhance the quality of legal services and the defense of civil litigation. The Foundation has also engaged in internal programming for many years sponsoring speakers and programs that bring value to the FDCC Family. One identified mission of the Foundation is to sponsor and promote outreach programs which enhance the stature of the civil justice system and the rule of law. The Foundation is open to expanding its footprint both within the FDCC and externally to the world. A necessary aspect of expanding this footprint is to raise funds which allows the
