At the 2023 Annual Meeting,
we organized an event where
attendees and their families
assembled fleece blankets to
donate to the local children’s
hospital. We were able to
donate 40 blankets. The event
had much support by our
Federation Family.
Since the Annual Meeting,
FedServes has coordinated two
virtual drives benefitting One
Warm Coat and The Joy of Sox.
One Warm Coat’s mission is to
provide free coats to children and
adults in need while promoting
volunteerism and environmental
sustainability. This drive resulted
in a $425 cash donation to this
worthwhile cause.
Founded in 2010, The Joy of Sox has
collected and distributed hundreds
of thousands of new socks to people
experiencing homelessness in
the Philadelphia area and across
the United States. Our Federation
Family purchased more than 4,000
pairs of socks from an Amazon
Wish List to support this drive. The
organization was absolutely thrilled
to receive this donation!
