AI INITIATIVE

Where 2023
was the year we
lawyers heard
about AI, 2024
will be the year
we learn and
apply AI. The
Federation
has created the AI Initiative,
which will study how AI is
transforming the practice
and will share what it learns
with our members. This AI
education includes:
•
A two-hour webinar that
demonstrated how to use
AI ethically, safely, and
effectively.
•
AI presentations at
our Winter meeting,
including a debate about
AI, how law firms are
adopting AI, and a legal
futurist who shared her
views about the future of
the practice and how AI
will shape it.
•
An expansion of Tech-U
that now includes an AI
component.
•
A half-day seminar on AI
at our Summer Meeting
in Toronto.

In addition to these, the
AI Initiative will include
roundtables, white papers,
alerts, additional webinars,
and other resources to keep us
members at the cutting edge
of AI for their practices. If you
