Jimmy Wilkins
One of the primary goals of the Evolve Committee is
to encourage and demonstrate to FDCC members
the benefits of utilizing technology to become more organized, to better tell our clients' stories, and to be a more effective advocate. The Evolve Committee believes that FDCC members should give some thought to the following questions:
1. Is there a technology tool that can be used to help the jury, judge, mediator, or client better understand the key facts, themes, theories, and strategies that have been identified in our cases?
2. Am I getting “out tech-ed” by my opponent?
3. Given that most people are visual learners, can I do a better job with multi-media, and graphic summaries to give my client, the jury, judge or other decision makers a clear road map to give them the information and guidance they need to make a decision?
To promote positive answers to the questions above, each year in the last weekend in April, the FDCC Evolve Committee hosts on Fed Tech U,atechnologyworkshopforlawyers.
