Fed Life’s offspring, Fed Cooks, continues to give us aseatatthetableofFDCCcelebritychefs. Itteamed with FedSERVES in Seattle for the wildly popular (and lucrative) live cookoff in between Sean Griffin and Dan Kohane, all for the benefit of the Foundation.
Fed Life’s mission is to breathe life into FDCC’s goal of “being better people”.
The FDCC is blessed with outstanding authors, and avid readers. FedLIFE Readers Recommend is publishing recommendations of nonfiction books that members have found helpful and interesting. We started with Valerie Kellner’s summary of “The Happier Hour,” which was featured in the Friday Five. Marc Harwell joined with a comparison of two books on improving your body and mind. He compared Method – Activate your Full Human Potential with Breath – the New Science of
a Lost Art. We have also recommended FDCC member ClaireParsons’book:“HowtoBeABadassLawyer:The Unexpected and Simple Guide to Less Stress and Greater Personal Development Through Mindfulness and Compassion.” If you have a nonfiction book that added value to your life or practice, please pass it on to us with a recommendation!
Fed Life’s mission is to breathe life into FDCC’s goal of “being better people”. We want to invest our time and resources to help you lead better lives mentally and physically and we welcome your ideas on how to invest in You!
