-EXPERIMENTATION-
AIM:
To find the most beneficial and effective attachable/detachable method for my cap.
METHOD:
attach each technique to a cap and identify their prosand cons, then evaluating their benefits to find the most effective and efficient attaching technique.

APPLICATION OF CONCLUSIONS: Prototype 1: Zipper attachment- -Waterproof
-Easy to attach/remove
-Strong
-Cumbersome zipper puller
-Clunky zipper head and base
-Will sand be an issue?
- Is the sweat band inside going to make it too thick to sew, does this need to be redesigned?
Prototype 2: Press Studs
-slow to remove and reattach
-sand has the potential to abstruct the performance of the press studs.
-visually appealing
-gaps between each press stud is an issue as it may catch sand
prototype 3: Velcro
-visually appealing
-easy to remove and re-attach
-sand will get into the teeth of the velcro making it hard to re-attach
