A REMARKABLE YEAR
OF BASKETBALL IN THE REGION
The year 2023 proved to be a whirlwind of basketball excitement, with athletes and parents wanting for more of the game. The support from Basketball WA (BWA), local associations, clubs, players, and especially parents, was invaluable in fueling our programs.

In the Midwest/Gascoyne region, our efforts reached an impressive 7,228 athletes, comprising 4,608 boys, 2,620 girls, and 1,575 individuals.
Overall, it was a remarkable year for basketball, with widespread participation and notable achievements across various programs and initiatives.
