there have been creative trees like red, white, and blue trees, a Polar Express tree, and much more! From tabletop trees to seven-foot trees, anyone who decorates trees can think outside of the box to stand out from the crowd! They sell 20 tickets for $5, and people walk around and put their tick- ets in the trees they wish to vote for. The tickets will be pulled on Saturday night, and the winner must pick up their tree on that Sunday! Everyone can just come, walk around and admire the trees while listening to Christmas music. Colby tells me, “It’s truly an awesome event. It’s so fun, and the atmosphere is just so bright and happy because everyone is so excited and in a great mood.”

Tree Lighting-11/26/2021
The Tree Lighting will begin around 5:15 in downtown Bristol right after the One-Stop Christ-

With the night filled with musical entertain- ment, families can enjoy a fun and happy atmosphere with different Christmas carols. In addition, frosty the Snowman will be there for the kids, and a mailbox will be set up for them to send their let- ters to Santa. And finally, the Fire Department will deliver Santa to the Tree Lighting and begin the countdown to light the tree! Les Dion from the TTCC encourages small businesses in downtown to stay open during this time so peo- ple can do some more Christmas shopping and get into the holiday spirit.
