Sustainability Fair
Besides many booths filled with games, crafts and great in- formation on how Bristol can be a greener community, New- found Regional School District’s Elementary School Art Teacher Ashley Littlefield presented a “Pollinator Garden.” The large and colorful display, including flowers, bats and a beehive, was a combination of art and science lessons and was created by stu- dents in grades K-3 for the May 21 Sustainability Fair at Kelley Park. Nearly everything con- tained in their special project was created from recycled goods, in- cluding paper, cardboard, scraps of cloth and old tee shirts.
