This is a day to celebrate the ladies of NH snowmo- biling. Tell your other half to plan a day with their buddies (or just leave ’em at home).
The Ladies Ride is a 1 to 2-hour trail ride on Baker River trails and surrounding
club systems. The ride caters to all skill levels by splitting into multiple groups, allowing each group to travel at an ap- propriate pace for the riders in it. That means beginners feel comfortable at a slower pace, and you ladies who want to haul will have some fun too.
We’ll all meet for a photo opp at one of the best scenic views Central NH snowmobil- ing has to offer, then head back to the BRVSC Clubhouse for more fun.

This event is free and open to the public, but we will have shirts and other items available for purchase. These items will
be available by presale soon, so check back.
BEGINNER’S CLINIC
Prior to the ride, ladies who need a little more instruction (or just a confidence boost) can work with Baker River volun- teers in a brief clinic. We’ll set up an open area where you can get comfortable on your sled before hitting the public trails, and work with you on basic safety and trail etiquette.

Sweets and childhood won- ders are coming together at the Minot-Sleeper Library this February. The Minot Sleeper Library in partnership with the Friends of the Minot-Sleeper Li- brary will host a Life-Size Candy Land game in the library’s meet- ing room.
The community is invited to the kick-off event at the library on Monday, February 28th from 6-8pm. Attendees will have the chance to play the life-size Candy Land game and move as game pieces through the room making their way to Candy Cas- tle. In addition, families may take pictures with characters from the game, including Queen Frostine, King Kandy and Miss Mint. The Friends of the Library will be selling Family Book Boxes at the event as a fundraiser. Each box will contain children’s books, and keepsake prizes for $5. The game will be hosted and remain
for families to play and enjoy through March 5th.
The Minot-Sleeper Li- brary and Friends of the Mi- not-Sleeper Library host the Life-Sized Candy Land kick-off event on Monday, February 28th from 6-8pm at the library in the meeting room. The event is free and open to the public with gen- erous support from the Friends of the Minot-Sleeper Library.
