Physical plant renovations are generally necessary to make significant enhancements in your dining experience. Stay close to your state health department advisors for construction and renovation to ensure compliance at every step of the way.
Take your facility footprint for fire egress, make multiple copies, and start dreaming. Locate existing kitchenettes, serving kitchens, activity kitchens, family room kitchenettes. Mark every place with water and a potential for renovation. Then start dreaming, the “what if” process. Get your maintenance staff on board. They hold the knowledge as to the potential of your physical plant.
