Having Fun with Food
Most of us think eating is fun. Knowing a staff member’s preference for Rice Krispies bars, co-workers and residents at Perham Memorial made a Rice Krispies bar cake instead of a traditional cake for her birthday. In another household, a resident suggested playing a joke on the receptionist by making a fake cake out of toilet paper. They frosted toilet paper in the shape of a cake and are still laughing about their practical joke.
Community potlucks present great opportunities for every household to prepare
a dish. At Perham Memorial, each household made something unique for the Halloween party. One household brought Rice Krispies Fingers. In another, a gentleman peeled apples for his house’s contribution of apple crunch.
