Monday August 8th, marked 100 days of school for our Harvest Foundation students.
What a day it has been! Children were able to come to school in casual clothes and were encouraged to create something using 100 items. We had some beautiful creations, including 100 Lego pieces creating a picture, a 100 shell collage, a 100 bead necklace, 100 jelly beans, 100 smarties, 100 pipe cleaner chains, 100 puzzle pieces, 100 butterflies, 100 hearts,
100 triangles and a 100 poster. We are definitely 100 days smarter!
We began our 100 themes with a 100 sheep devotional - the lost sheep parable.
Our Foundation Students had an “If I had 100 ........” writing challenge. They created 100 themed crowns, walked a 100 fitness trail, played a 100 maths game and completed a 100 Stem Lego block challenge.
We also had a special party lunch with a celebratory home-baked vanilla biscuit, and each student received a 100 days certificate. We are very proud of our wonderful Foundation students!
