Kangaroo Island Trip
Our Year Ten, Eleven and Twelve students, staff
and volunteers thoroughly enjoyed themselves on Kangaroo Island during the last week of Term 2.
The activities were amazing and included Little Sahara, where students went sandboarding and touring in
the sand buggies. They also visited Vivonne Bay and Raptor Domain, where they could see and handle birds of prey. Other beautiful and exciting places visited
on Kangaroo Island included Admiral’s Arch, with loads of newborn fur seals, followed by a walk around Remarkable Rocks. There was also a beach tour at
Seal Bay, where Sea Lions basked in the sun, and no
KI trip is complete without a visit to Clifford’s Honey Farm, where Honey ice cream was sampled, and many purchases of other honey products were made. Overall it was a fantastic experience and a great way to finish last term.
