SACSA Basketball Carnival
Bronze medal for the Mini Boomers! Like the Boomers at the Olympics, our Year 7/8 Boys brought home the bronze medal from last weeks SACSA Basketball Carnival in Adelaide. Like the Boomers in Tokyo, some poor shooting cost us our chance to play off for the gold medal. However, the boys smashed it in the bronze medal match, winning that game convincingly. Great job, boys!
SAPSASA Basketball Carnival
On Friday August 5th, the Year 5/6 future NBA players took part in the Carnival at Kadina.
Both teams battled hard all day, winning more games than they lost. The boys finished 5th, and the girls finished 3rd.
Special thanks to Amelia Bugg and Bianca Hammond for offering to umpire at the carnival. Also, thanks to our current Pre-Service teachers, Olivia and Eryn, for helping Mr Nield coach the teams. Everyone had a fantastic day.
