FSANZ Honorary Life Memberships
The latest recipients of the Society’s Life Membership will be announced at our Annual General Meeting, to be held on-line on Saturday 13 November. Kim O’Dea from the FSANZ Secretariat will advise members in advance of how to log on to the virtual AGM.
Life membership of our Society is a great honour for people who have made outstanding contributions in our understanding and treatment of infertility, and I encourage members to set aside time to participate on-line in the AGM.
Queen’s Birthday Honours 2021
On behalf of our members, I congratulate Beverley Vollenhoven, Alan Trounson and Leon Clark, who were named in this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours List. They have made outstanding contributions in the field of assisted reproduction are worthy recipients of their honours. (See Page 15).
New Research Awardees
With the generous support of trusted partners, the FSANZ has been able to re-awaken one its important missions – the enabling of research by our emerging scientists, whether they are clinicians, embryologists, nurses or counsellors.
I regard the establishment of the FSANZ Research Foundation as one of the current Board’s most significant initiatives.
This edition features information on latest FSANZ research awardees and I congratulate each of them in their commitment to advancing knowledge in our field. (See Pages 14 and 15).
A big thank you to Christos Venetis and his team of Board members for making this happen. We are very hopeful that we can grow this initiative further next year!
