With ASPIRE’s growing reputation and influence, we are also working hard to standardise quality care in our member countries through accreditation measures along with further education and professional development programs.
Our certificate courses, masterclasses and workshops are designed to elevate qualifications and standards to ensure that we offer our patients best practice care. This edition of our newsletter features some comments from members testifying to the value and importance of these programs.
Our Secretariat
In this edition, we are also pleased to profile the key members of our Secretariat – Jing Qi Hoa and Cassandra Mak. They form the core of our hard- working administrative team that maintains lines of communication among our members of such diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Their organisational skills in presenting our annual congress and our many and varied on-line programs ensure ASPIRE members maintain and enhance their skills and knowledge.
Challenge of language diversity
I am pleased to report that ASPIRE continues to be in a very sound financial position allowing us to make strategic investments that can further enhance our services.

One important incentive is to address the challenge of language diversity among our members by introducing realtime translation initiatives in our on-line programs.
A number of options are being explored to implement this much-needed development with its far-reaching benefits. Watch our newsletter and website for updates.
Best wishes for the New Year
The past year, like the two before it, have challenged us in unprecedented ways because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hopefully, the headwinds that we have encountered through COVID are on the wane, and we can look ahead to 2023 with greater confidence.
